Giving hope to widows and uneducated women

Grace runs a tailoring school for women. Most of these women are widows or had to leave school at a young age. She hopes that by teaching these women tailoring skills they’ll be able to generate income to support themselves and their families.

a little bit of HOPE provided the school with approximately £600 (the exchange rate is always changing) to enable them to renovate their building and purchase new sewing machines. The renovations are now complete and the school now has three new sewing machines.

This is an example of how a little bit of HOPE does not set up projects in Uganda; rather it enables locals to develop their own. Over the next few years our team in Uganda will track the progress of this tailoring school to see if it’s a success.
